- In Ukraine the only officials permitted
by law to show referrals or give any information on children is
the National Adoption Center of Ukraine.
- You will be able to personally choose
your child(ren)in Ukraine. This is done on the same trip you adopt.
This means that you can personally meet and bond with our child
before adopting. When you go to the Adoption Center you tell them
what age,sex etc. children you are looking for and then they give
you clearance to go to the orphanage where those children are available.
You are not guaranteed that an age range or sex will be available
when you get there, but you can return to the adoption center to
explore another orphanage if you don't find your child in the first
one.
- Since you are adopting independent
you can control the speed and choose when you travel.
- There is no waiting list at the Adoption
Center, when you are cleared (10days after receiving your translated
paperwork) you can go!!!!And your child(ren) will be waiting for
you.
- Technically
children are put on the registry at around 14-16 months. It is possible
to get younger, but they will have medical conditions listed. Most
medical conditions are fixable and many are terribly misdiagnosed.
This is the norm for foreign adoptions, you really need to evaluate
for yourself
