  A few other terms
Dom Rebenka Baby Home housing children from birth through age 3
Detsky Dom Orphanage, usually houses children aged 3 through 7
Internat Boarding school for children from 7 to 17.
Oblast A region much like a state in America
Kray or Krai A region different somehow from an Oblast but much like a state in America
   
  If using the term "older child" please qualify that with an age or age range. To some a 3 year old is an older child, but to others an older child is 10 or 12 years old.

And now for the ever popular "emoticons"

Use a : (colon) with the appropriate letter or character (case sensitive) to get the desired graphic/emoticon with no spaces between the colon and letter/character. There must be a space before the colon and after the letter/character.
