For over 20 years, FRUA has been here to offer hope, help and community for adoptive families. The mission of Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoption, Including Neighboring Countries (FRUA) is now more true than ever.

Donations will go toward FRUA's work; expanding educational programming capacity– planning for webinar capability, developing and launching a support program and membership structure for young adult adoptees, and improving support for its ten regional chapter structures. FRUA's current scholarship fund and orphan support porgram also need replenishing.

In the past 18 months FRUA has made major technology upgrades to better support members and regional chapters, including creating an entire members-benefit resource room.

A GIFT OF $50 OR MORE, entitles donors to receive a three-pack of Maria's Children gift cards, a special program purchase FRUA has made that has already helped orphans in Russia.

As an all-volunteer 501(c)(3), donations to FRUA all go to fund its work. "More families than ever are turning to us for educational and family support, but they aren't necessarily membeers," said National Chair Jan Wondra. "We try not to turn people away. And increasingly, FRUA is being called upon to represent adoptive families with birth countries and policy-makers.

FRUA covers families who have adopted in 32 former Soviet bloc countries. It helps adoptive families with educational resources, provide a community of adoptees for our children and young adults; an online and offline adoptive family support structure stretching across the United States and around the world, in regional chapters, down to local Parent Organized Districts.
