32 Countries Across 10 Time Zones... the adopted children of FRUA families come from all former Soviet block countries and republics -- a geographic area spanning Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and the central-western regions of Asia.

Our children's heritage also includes Roma (Gypsy), Slavic, Turkic (Bashkir, Chuvash, Uyghur, Yakut, Dolgan, and Tuvan), Uralic, Mongolic, Asian, Tungusic, and other non-Turkic Native Siberian cultures (including Evenk, Buryat, Mongol, Yukaghir Nenet, and Komi)

FRUA welcomes families formed through adoption from other countries and cultures who feel they can benefit from our adoptive community and extensive educational resources.  FRUA members have adopted from Bolivia, Brazil, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Korea, Samoa, Taiwan, Vietnam and the United States.
