Many young adult adoptees seek connection and support with peers who share common backgrounds and are traveling similar journeys. FRUA's Young Adult Facebook community is designed to provide its post-high school members with a private, moderated platform of peers outside of their family.
This is a place where they can connect, express themselves, ask honest questions, and learn from other's perspectives in a friendly, fun and supportive environment. In many ways, it's the adoptee's version of the FRUA (Parent) Facebook Group. In finding commonality, it is hoped this group will coalesce over time into a group choosing to gather in person and engage in further FRUA activities.
FRUA Young Adults have an adult team leader who guides discussions and oversees activities as appropriate.
FRUA is actively expanding its presence on other forms of social media including Instagram and Twitter so please, join ... follow ... like ... tag ... share!
