Facebook Moderator
FRUA Facebook has a devoted team of compassionate and articulate moderators who check in during 3-5 hour shifts from 8a-midnight across all US time zones, and work together to maintain the goals of FRUA INC - Hope, Help and Community to Adoptive Families. They keep posts relevant, positive and supportive; provide an atmosphere of safety and comfort; and provide networking, support and resources that are of value to the adoptive family and adult adoptee users. Scholarship Committee Member
Evaluating the applications of our many talented FRUA scholars is immeasurably inspiring. This team works over ~6 weeks, mid-March to early May, for approximately 15-20 hours pp. Members work independently to review applications following an established framework.
